Your appointment
Appointments are mandatory at all Visa Application Centres at this time.
You cannot book an appointment until you’ve completed and submitted a visa application on GOV.UK (the UK government website). If you’ve not started a visa application yet, find out what type of visa to apply for by following the link below. Selecting the link on your chosen visa category will direct you to complete the appropriate application form online.
If you’ve started your visa application, but not yet completed it, click here for information on how to sign in and complete it. Once you have completed and paid for your visa application on GOV.UK, you will be automatically directed to book an appointment at a Visa Application Centre, where your biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) can be captured.
If you have submitted your online visa application, you will have up to 240 days to book and attend an appointment to provide your biometrics and complete the application process.
If you have completed a visa application on GOV.UK and now wish to book an appointment at a Visa Application Centre, or if you have already booked an appointment and need to check or reprint your appointment letter, upload documents, buy additional services, reschedule or cancel your appointment, please click on the link below.
You can rearrange your appointment more than once if you need to. If you are unable to attend a biometric appointment within 240 days but wish to continue with your visa application you will need to contact UKVI.
If your request is because you think travelling to a VAC would be unsafe, please refer to the Biometric enrolment guidance - unsafe journeys (publishing.service.gov.uk) before contacting UKVI.
If you miss your appointment, you can reschedule it within 5 days without needing to submit a new application, for an additional fee.
