The following UK Passport Application Services are included at selected visa application centres as part of the service we offer to HM Passport Office customers:
Application form completeness check - We check your application form to confirm it is fully completed and signed and dated correctly, and that you have provided all the documents requested within HM Passport Office guidance
Document check - We check that all your original documents are copied and certify them as true copies of the originals. Please note any documents not in English will require a translated copy.
Passport application and document submission - We arrange the secure collection and transportation of your passport application and supporting documents to the UK via courier.
Passport and document collection - We will contact you to make arrangements to collect your new passport, ensure the physical cancellation of your old passport, and the return of any supporting documents you submitted as part of your application.
DNA testing - For first time child cases (first passport for a child) applying for British citizenship and who have been offered by HM Passport Office to take their DNA test at a VFS Global Visa Application Centre. VFS staff will contact you by email once we receive the notification from HMPO. The DNA testing company will send your results directly to HMPO, and to the email address you have provided to HMPO, after DNA samples have been collected for all family members. The cost of DNA testing is £200 per customer.
