Let us walk you through the process of application for a visa to Poland
Determine the visa category for which you will be applying, depending on the purpose of your trip.
You can find visa categories as well as detailed information on required documents and requirements here.
Please remember that we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but we are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category or purpose of travel. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy/Consulate General of Republic of Poland.
Visa Application submission to the Embassy/Consulate General of Poland is possible with a prior appointment at the Visa Centres or the Embassy/Consulate General of Poland. Submitting a visa application form in both institutions is equivalent.
All Applicants should apply for Schengen Visas and National Visas on a territorial basis in accordance to their respective address of registration:
- At the Visa Centers in Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel, Vitebsk - residents of Minsk region, Mogilev region, Gomel region and Vitebsk region. Applicants intending to submit a visa application at one of the Visa Centers in Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel or Vitebsk regions must document their residence registration in one of these regions at least for the last six months.
- At the Visa Centers in Brest, Baranovichi, Pinsk - residents of Brest region.
- At the Visa Centers in Grodno and Lida - residents of Grodno region. Applicants intending to submit a visa application at the Visa Centers in Grodno region must document their residence registration in this region at least for the last six months.
Holders of biometric passports should provide certificate confirmation of the place of residence registration.
Citizens of the Republic of Belarus, as well as foreign nationals legally residing in the territory of the Republic of Belarus (on the basis of a residence permit), are required to confirm their place of residence registration within the Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel or Vitebsk regions when submitting visa documents, as follows:
- Persons holding passports / residence permits of the regular (non-biometric) format may present a registration annotation (stamp) in the passport;
- Persons holding biometric passports / biometric residence cards must present a valid official document (certificate) confirming residence registration, bearing an official seal and signature, issued by the competent internal affairs authority responsible for population registration, namely the ROVD, RUVD or OGiM.

Visa application submission is possible:
By the applicant himself / herself (for the adult applicants)
By parents / legal guardians for a minor child by presenting birth certificate. Visa Application Form for a child should be signed by both the parents. In case it is signed by one of the parents only, the other parent has to provide a written consent. In case there is only one legal guardian, same should be confirmed by sufficient documents.

After submission of your application, you need to pay all the applicable fees.
The visa fee and service as well as additional services should be paid in Belarusian rubles at the Visa Application Centre.
After application submission in the Visa Centre you can easily check status of your application online or via our Helpdesk +375 17 388 13 37. For online tracking please provide unique reference number mentioned on the ICR issued by the officer of the Visa Centre during submission and your passport number.

You can retrieve your passport at one of the visa application centres or you can have it delivered by courier. You may opt for Courier delivery service during application submission at the Visa Application Centre or after it if your passport is still being processed. Applicants can collect their passports from the visa application centres as follows:
15:00-17:00 (Monday-Friday, except Holidays) – at Visa Application Centers in Minsk, Brest and Grodno
14:00-16:00 (Monday-Friday, except Holidays) – at Visa Application Centers in Baranovichi, Pinsk, Lida, Gomel, Mogilev and Vitebsk

Passport collection is possible:

By the applicants themselves (for the adult applicants) – please bring copy of passport, ICR check, payment slip.

By family members or close relatives: please bring copy of passport/s; ICR check, payment receipt issued when submitting documents at the Visa Application Center; originals and copies of documents confirming family relationship, power of attorney and original passport of the person receiving the documents. In case of change of full name - supporting documents should be provided.

By third parties: copy of passport/s, ICR check, payment receipt issued when submitting documents at the Visa Application Center; original notarized power of attorney and original passport of the authorized person.

Representative of the company: please bring copy of passport/s, ICR check, payment receipt issued when submitting documents at the Visa Application Center; original power of attorney with the list of employees or group, with the name and position of the authorized person; original passport of the authorized person.
Applicants are requested to collect their passports from the Visa Application Centre within 30 days. If passports are not collected within this period, they will be handed over to the Embassy/ Consulate General. Passports which are handed over to courier for delivery will be called off and returned back to the Embassy if delivery fails for more than 30 days. In both cases, applicants will have to collect their passport directly from the Embassy/Consulate General.

Important Information:
Using these services does not mean your visa application will be processed more quickly or that you will be issued a visa. Your visa application will be processed in the normal way by the Consular Department of Poland Embassy in Minsk/General Consulates of Poland in Grodno and Brest.
All additional services are paid only in the Visa Application Center in the national currency (BYN). All service charges are inclusive of 20% VAT.
