Important information for applicants verified by the previous service provider
VFS Global would like to inform applicants who were verified by the previous service provider and whose data was transferred by the Embassy of Italy in Minsk that their applications are being processed as part of the transition to the VFS waiting list for Italy visa applications.
Applicants with live queue numbers from 35884 to 40640 will receive a unique VFS reference number linked to their previous live queue number.
To ensure the correct handling of individual and group applications, emails containing login credentials will be sent in two batches.
Applicants whose live queue numbers range from 35884 to 38422 will receive the email on 6 May 2026
Applicants whose live queue numbers range from 38424 to 40640 will receive the email on 11 May 2026.
Each eligible applicant will receive a unique VFS reference number and login credentials (username and password).
After receiving the email, applicants must log in to their VFS account using the provided credentials to confirm their intention to remain on the VFS waiting list. The login should be done within 72 hours from the moment the email is received. Please note that this step can be completed only through the web version of the appointment booking system.
Receiving login credentials does not mean that an appointment has already been booked. Applicants who have confirmed their participation in the VFS waiting list will start receiving appointment slot availability emails from 18 May 2026. Upon receipt of such an email, applicants will be able to log in to the system again and book an appointment for an available date and time to submit their documents at the VFS Italy Visa Application Centre.
If an applicant does not use the booking opportunity when the slot availability email is received, one additional opportunity will be provided at a later stage. In such cases, the applicant will be considered in the end of the waiting list of all applicants verified by the previous service provider. If this additional opportunity is also missed, the applicant will be removed from the waiting list and will need to apply as a new applicant under the standard appointment booking process.
Applicants are strongly advised to check their email inbox regularly, including the spam or junk folder, and to add [email protected] to their safe senders list to avoid missing important communication.
For assistance, applicants may contact the Visa Application Centre Helpdesk at +375 17 388 2019 or by email at [email protected].
