Please refer to the operating schedule of the Austrian Visa Center for December 2025 – January 2026.
Important! For visa applications (except for D Abh.AT visas) with planned travel before January 19, 2026, the Visa Section of the Austrian Embassy in Moscow strongly recommends submitting documents by December 1, 2025.
December 16, 2025: Last day for submitting documents at the Visa Center. After this date, submissions (except for D Abh.AT visas) will not be accepted. For D Abh.AT visas, the last day for submission in Minsk is December 19, 2025.
December 17–30, 2025 to January 11, 2026: The Austrian Visa Center will only operate for passport collection and dispatch of ready passports.
January 1–2, 2026 and January 7, 2026: The Austrian Visa Center will be closed.
From January 12, 2026: First regular working day.

Applicants are advised to beware of fraudulent entities who charge fees for scheduling appointments using VFS Global’s name or independently. Visa appointments are available online on first-come first-serve basis as per the directives of the client governments we serve. We do not charge any additional payment for scheduling appointments. As a responsible service provider, we make every effort to inform applicants to beware of fraudulent third-party entities who charge fees from customers for scheduling appointments.

Please note that from 01.07.2025 the consular fee for visa D for persons from 6 years old will be 195 euros and for children under 6 years old 97 euros.

Dear Customers,
Kindly note that from 01.10.2022 the German Embassy in Minsk will process all applications for a Schengen visa for travel to Austria.
The Austrian Visa Center in Minsk will accept only documents for type D visas.
If you already have a confirmed appointment at the VFS in Minsk, your documents will be accepted in accordance with pre-registration at the visa application center.
