Attestation services are provided by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and UAE missions abroad, including the attestation of documents issued by government entities in Belarus.
The type of documents you can get attested are Personal (Ex: Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, etc.), Educational (Ex: Degree Certificates, Transcripts/Marksheets, etc.) and Commercial Documents (Ex: Trade License, Certificate of Incorporation, etc.)
To attest the documents issued from Belarus to be used in the UAE, below steps need to be completed. The document needs to be attested by each of the below authorities:
- Department of Foreign Affairs, Belarus
- UAE Embassy in Belarus
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE
Determine whether your document(s) is/are attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
- If YES, you can proceed with submitting your Application by clicking here UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA
- If NO, Please attend to the nearest Ministry of Foreign Affairs office to do so.
You may submit your request on the UAE MOFA portal and make the payment for the mission legalization & UAE MOFA.
Note:
- Applications may be rejected by the mission if they do not meet the mandatory attestation criteria. Ensure prior attestation by the relevant authorities.
- If your documents are in any language other than English or Arabic, translation/Notarization will be required
Once you’re ready to apply, create an account on the UAE Pass app to Login to UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA
Click here UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA to begin your application submission following the below steps:
- Log in using UAE Pass account
- Select services > Services for Individuals > Document Attestation
- Choose ‘UAE Embassy and Consulate abroad’
- Select country
- Select mission ‘VFS delivery service’
- Select origin of document ‘Issued from Outside UAE’
For the UAE mission and Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE legalizations, you shall pay the fees directly on the MOFA Portal UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA during the submission of your Application
Government Fee:
- Individual Certificates: AED 150 per document
- Commercial certificates: AED 2000 per document
Note: Above fee does not include VFS Service Fee. In the event of cancellation/rejection of Application on MoFA portal, only Embassy fee will be refunded, VFS Service fee is non-refundable.
All the payments must be made in advance, or the applications will not be accepted for further processing.
Once you have successfully made the payment on MoFA portal, based on the service selected on MoFA portal, below will be applicable:

- Collect and Drop document from your Address – An Email confirmation with details of the shipment/Courier Airway bill number for collection/delivery of your documents. VFS Courier partner will collect your documents within 24 hours of successful submission of Application on MoFA portal.

- Submit document to service center - A confirmation Email with a link to select corresponding VFS Global UAE Attestation Center address where you can drop off/collect your documents, along with the information on the operational timings. You may visit the specified VFS Global Center anytime during working hours to drop off/collect your documents personally. You can also authorize someone else to submit the documents on your behalf with a copy of the payment receipt.
Do not include any additional supporting documentation which is not included in the initial application. Any excess documentation on the shipment will not be considered for attestation. VFS sends supporting document requirements via email if applicable, before collection or in-centre receipt.

You will receive updates via email on all relevant stages of your application. These notifications are sent in a timely manner at pre-specified intervals. You will have a clear understanding of the progress of your application from the time of submission until completion.
You can also track your application status online. You may access your user ID credentials registered with the ministry during application submission. You will have the application status updates outlined in your client portal.
After your documents have been processed, based on the services opted, below will be applicable:
- Collect and Drop document from your Address: Your documents shall be returned to you by courier at your preferred address mentioned during submission of your Application. You will receive an Email with the dispatch AWB (Airway Bill) number for you to track your shipment. Our courier partner will get in touch with you via phone call and SMS. A valid proof of identification is required to be presented to courier partner for verification at the time of delivery. You will receive your documents Within 24–48 hours after release from the UAE embassy. For remote areas, delivery may take 48–72 hours.

- Submit document to service center– you can personally collect your documents at a VFS Global UAE Attestation Center. You can also authorize someone else to collect the documents on your behalf with a copy of the payment receipt provided during submission & a signed authorization letter.
