Overview
Citizens of Belarus who plan to visit Croatia are required to have a visa. If you reside in Belarus please check whether you require a visa for Croatia: http://www.mvep.hr/en/consular-information/visas/visa-requirements-overview/.
Who can apply for a Croatian visa in Belarus?
- customer himself;
- parents/adopted family for minors (aged up to 18 years) with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- parents for children (over 18 years old) with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- spouses (with original of supporting document of relationship proof - the marriage certificate);
- children over 18 years of age for their parents with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- travel agents recognised by Embassy of Croatia.
We also accept documents by an authorized third person ( with notarized power of attorney) in case the customer is disabled (it's better for customer to contact the Embassy of Croatia before to apply by e-mail at crorus@mvep.hr).
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Pursuant to the Government’s Decision, the Republic of Croatia decided to apply Decision No. 565/2016/EU according to which all visitors holders of valid Schengen documents do not require an additional (Croatian) visa to enter Croatia.
Visitors who are holders of:
- uniform visa (C) for two or multiple entries, valid for all Schengen Area Member States;
- visa with limited territorial validity (LTV visa), for two or multiple entries, issued to the holder of a travel document that is not recognised by one or more, but not all of the Schengen Area Member States, and which is valid for the territory of the Member States recognising the travel document;
- long-stay visa (D) for stays exceeding three months, issued by one of the Schengen Area Member State;
- residence permit issued by one of the Schengen Area Member State;
do not require a visa for transit or intended stays in the territory of Croatia not exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period.

The period of validity of the above mentioned Schengen documents must cover the duration of the transit or stay.
Information for the holders of the Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen
A family member of a citizen of an EU Member State or the European Economic Area may travel to Croatia without a visa, if (s) he has a valid passport and a valid Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen, and is travelling in the company of or is joining the family member who is a citizen of an EU Member State or the EEA. If the family member of a citizen of an EU Member State or the EEA does not have such a card, (s) he needs a Croatian visa that will be issued on the basis of an accelerated procedure, free of charge.
A short-stay visa (C-visa) allows the visitor to transit through or stay in the territory of the Republic of Croatia for a maximum of 90 days in any period 180 day-period. It is issued for one, two, or multiple entries for the purpose of transit, tourism, business, private or other purposes. Its validity period depends on the circumstances of the visitor’s travel to Croatia and may not exceed five years.
The visa shall not entitle a visitor to enter the Republic of Croatia.
A foreigner cannot work in Croatia on the basis of a short-term visa.
Please note that you may be required to come for a personal interview with the visa officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia prior to a decision being made on your application.
Submitting a visa application, including all the required documents, does not automatically mean that the visa will be issued.
An issued visa is not a guarantee that a foreign citizen will be permitted to enter the Republic of Croatia. On every crossing of the border, the police may require the foreign citizen to present all relevant documents, including copies of the Letters of Guarantee for both private and business visits.
The decision to refuse a visa, indicating reasons for such a decision, shall be delivered to the customer in a visa refusal/annulment/revocation form.
A foreign citizen may file a complaint against the decision to refuse a visa through the competent Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Croatia, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the decision on visa refusal/annulment/revocation. The complaint shall be filed in Croatian. The fee for non-European countries is EUR 34 or US$ 38, according to Section 78b of the Law on Administrative Fees.
The visa application fee is non-refundable once the application has been accepted at the Embassy.
Any falsification of the documents and the use of such documents may be subject to criminal prosecution.

Visa Fees
SHORT-TERM VISA TYPE C C Category Citizens of the Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan,Georgia, Moldova (holders of non-biometric passports), and Ukraine Nationals of other states Fee 35 €* 90 €*
*Visa Fee will be collected in Belorussian Ruble and will be paid at the rate agreed additionally on the day of payment.
Service fees: Apart from the visa fee, VFS service charge in BYN of the equivalent of 30 Euros inclusive of VAT per application will be levied for customers applying at the visa application centre. The following are exempt from visa fees upon application:
- Family members of a Croatian citizen (spouse and children),
- Family members of citizens of EEA Member States (EU + Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Switzerland)
- Children up to the age of 12,
- Holders of diplomatic and service passports travelling in their official capacity
- Pupils, students, postgraduate students and teachers accompanying them when they come to attend school, study and professional training,
- Researchers coming to conduct research, as provided for by the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research,
- Representatives of non-profit organizations up to the age of 25, who are to attend seminars, conferences, sport, cultural or educational events organized by non-profit organisations.

Passport: issued within the last 10 years, with expiry date exceeding the expiry date of the requested visa by a minimum of three months, and containing at least two empty pages.

Travel health insurance to cover the possible expenses related to repatriation, for health reasons, urgent medical assistance and/or urgent hospitalization, with the minimum coverage of EUR 30 000. The insurance must be valid for the territory of the Republic of Croatia during the entire stay in Croatia. You can make an insurance in our VAC
The customer for a multiple-entry visa must have travel health-insurance policy that covers the period of the first visit to Croatia.

Proof of residence for nationals other than Belarus: a photocopy of the stay permit;
- Means of transportation and intention to return to the country of residence: reservation of return travel ticket for airplane, bus, or boat; registration card and driver's license if travelling by car; If the person is travelling to a third country, then proof of itinerary (travel ticket, etc.).

Documents proving sufficient funds to support the stay in Croatia and to return to the state of residence or to travel to a third state:

- Each person must have at least EUR 70.00 (for every day of stay at his/her disposal (or the equivalent amount in another currency). In case if accommondation is prepaid each person must have at least EUR 30.00 a day.
Exceptionally, if the Letter of Guarantee/Invitation Letter indicates the guarantor is fully accepting all the expenses related to visiting and departing from Croatia, the customer can be exempt from the requirement to present the proof of sufficient funds.
The supporting documents may include: pay slip and/or bank account statements about the balance and transactions on your bank account in the last three months, a pension slip, proof of scholarship received etc.

Proof of professional or student status: evidence of employment, certificate of school attendance or proof of studying etc; ; for retired persons – proof of pension

Accommodation: hotel booking, private or other accommodation, real estate title deed or lease, proof of ownership or lease of a boat etc. Accommodation can be provided by the guarantor or the inviting party if so indicated in the Letter of Guarantee or the Letter of Invitation.
The documents attached shall not be older than three months.
Croatian Embassy may require you to submit additional supporting documents and/or certified translation as well as the international certification (appostille) of the documents during the visa application process.

Photo Specifications

Photographs must follow the below guidelines
- in colour
- 35x45 mm
- printed on normal photographic paper
- taken against a light background
- full face taken straight forward 30-36 mm from point of the chin to the head of hair
- the person is to be captured with neutral facial expression, with his/her eyes open and mouth closed
- The photograph of a person, who for religious or medical reasons is wearing a head cover, must show the person's cheeks, chin and forehead
- children in photographs must be alone, and their faces fully visible and eyes open
Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If the presented photos do not follow these requirements your application will be considered incomplete!

Processing Time
Applications can be submitted not less than 45 days before the expected start date of the trip. Please plan the submission well in advance. However, visa applications should not be submitted earlier than 180 days before the start of the intended visit.

- proof of ownership or lease of a boat/yacht etc.;

All minors need a separate visa application even if they are enclosed into the parents’ passports.
Both parents should be present when applying. If only one parent submits documents, then from the second one it is necessary to present a notarized power of attorney for submission of documents for a visa to Croatia for his/her child.
Collection of fingerprints is from the age of 12. Presence of children under 12 is mandatory as the “live”-photo should be submitted.
If biometric data were collected within the last 59 months for a Schengen visa, they should be re-collected;
A visa application form should be signed by both parents or by the person exercising temporary or permanent parental authority or legal guardianship.
For minors traveling unaccompanied by parents or guardians, it is necessary to submit:
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from both parents/guardians;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of both parents/guardians
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from the second parent/guardians who do not accompany a minor in travel;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of the second parent/guardians who do not accompany a minor in travel;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the foreign passport/travel document and copy of a valid visa (if applicable) of the accompanying parent/guardians;
- copy of documents confirming the joint trip (accommodation confirmation, tickets, etc.)
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from both parents/guardians in favor of an accompanying person;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of both parents/guardians;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the foreign passport/travel document and copy of a valid visa (if applicable) of an accompanying person;
- copy of documents confirming the joint trip (accommodation confirmation, tickets, etc.)
- Parents/one of parents temporarily or permanently reside in Croatia;
- Child or parents/one of parents/accompanying person return from the trip on different dates;
- Child or parents /one of parents/accompanying person travel and return together, but parents/one of parents/accompanying person plan leaving Croatia for some period of time during the trip;
- Child or parents /one of parents/accompanying person travel with different flights.

The notarized consent for travelling abroad should be submitted in the following cases:
Accredited travel agency
The application shall be submitted by an authorised representative of a travel agency for individual or group travels.
The agency shall submit the following documents related to a specific travel:- a certificate of travel package
- a list of travellers (name, surname, passport number)
- information about accommodation in Croatia (address)
- information about transportation
- group or individual travel health insurance
- a proof of paid visa fees
and for each traveller:
- a filled out visa application form, signed manu propria
- a valid passport
- a 35x45 mm colour photo

Information for the holders of the Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen
A family member of a citizen of an EU Member State or the European Economic Area may travel to Croatia without a visa, if (s) he has a valid passport and a valid Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen, and is travelling in the company of or is joining the family member who is a citizen of an EU Member State or the EEA. If the family member of a citizen of an EU Member State or the EEA does not have such a card, (s) he needs a Croatian visa that will be issued on the basis of an accelerated procedure, free of charge.
A short-stay visa (C-visa) allows the visitor to transit through or stay in the territory of the Republic of Croatia for a maximum of 90 days in any period 180 day-period. It is issued for one, two, or multiple entries for the purpose of transit, tourism, business, private or other purposes. Its validity period depends on the circumstances of the visitor’s travel to Croatia and may not exceed five years.
The visa shall not entitle a visitor to enter the Republic of Croatia.
A foreigner cannot work in Croatia on the basis of a short-term visa.
Please note that you may be required to come for a personal interview with the visa officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia prior to a decision being made on your application.
Submitting a visa application, including all the required documents, does not automatically mean that the visa will be issued.
An issued visa is not a guarantee that a foreign citizen will be permitted to enter the Republic of Croatia. On every crossing of the border, the police may require the foreign citizen to present all relevant documents, including copies of the Letters of Guarantee for both private and business visits.
The decision to refuse a visa, indicating reasons for such a decision, shall be delivered to the customer in a visa refusal/annulment/revocation form.
A foreign citizen may file a complaint against the decision to refuse a visa through the competent Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Croatia, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the decision on visa refusal/annulment/revocation. The complaint shall be filed in Croatian. The fee for non-European countries is EUR 34 or US$ 38, according to Section 78b of the Law on Administrative Fees.
The visa application fee is non-refundable once the application has been accepted at the Embassy.
Any falsification of the documents and the use of such documents may be subject to criminal prosecution.

Visa Fees
SHORT-TERM VISA TYPE C C Category Citizens of the Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan,Georgia, Moldova (holders of non-biometric passports), and Ukraine Nationals of other states Fee 35 €* 90 €*
*Visa Fee will be collected in Belorussian Ruble and will be paid at the rate agreed additionally on the day of payment.
Service fees: Apart from the visa fee, VFS service charge in BYN of the equivalent of 30 Euros inclusive of VAT per application will be levied for customers applying at the visa application centre. The following are exempt from visa fees upon application:
- Family members of a Croatian citizen (spouse and children),
- Family members of citizens of EEA Member States (EU + Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Switzerland)
- Children up to the age of 12,
- Holders of diplomatic and service passports travelling in their official capacity
- Pupils, students, postgraduate students and teachers accompanying them when they come to attend school, study and professional training,
- Researchers coming to conduct research, as provided for by the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research,
- Representatives of non-profit organizations up to the age of 25, who are to attend seminars, conferences, sport, cultural or educational events organized by non-profit organisations.

Passport: issued within the last 10 years, with expiry date exceeding the expiry date of the requested visa by a minimum of three months, and containing at least two empty pages.

Travel health insurance to cover the possible expenses related to repatriation, for health reasons, urgent medical assistance and/or urgent hospitalization, with the minimum coverage of EUR 30 000. The insurance must be valid for the territory of the Republic of Croatia during the entire stay in Croatia. You can make an insurance in our VAC
The customer for a multiple-entry visa must have travel health-insurance policy that covers the period of the first visit to Croatia.

Proof of residence for nationals other than Belarus: a photocopy of the stay permit;
- Means of transportation and intention to return to the country of residence: reservation of return travel ticket for airplane, bus, or boat; registration card and driver's license if travelling by car; If the person is travelling to a third country, then proof of itinerary (travel ticket, etc.).

Proof of the purpose of stay in Croatia:

Letter of Guarantee by Natural Person (certified by a Public Notary in Croatia): in original or copy if the original is deposited at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in Croatia; with the Letter of Guarantee the guarantor shall enclose proof of permanent source of income (pay slip, pension slip) in the last three months or adequate proof of having funds in a bank.
The customer receives a copy of the Letter of Guarantee so that (s)he may present proof of the purpose of stay in Croatia if requested to do so by border control authority.

- For the members of the immediate family of a Croatian citizen and a citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA): Certificate from the Register of Births or Marriages and a photocopy of the ID card of the Croatian citizen or the EEA citizen;

Documents proving sufficient funds to support the stay in Croatia and to return to the state of residence or to travel to a third state:
- Each person must have at least EUR 70.00 (for every day of stay at his/her disposal (or the equivalent amount in another currency). In case if accommodation is prepaid each person must have at least EUR 30.00 a day.
Exceptionally, if the Letter of Guarantee indicates the guarantor is fully accepting all the expenses related to visiting and departing from Croatia, the customer can be exempt from the requirement to present the proof of sufficient funds.
The supporting documents may include: pay slip and/or bank account statements about the balance and transactions on your bank account in the last three months, a pension slip, proof of scholarship received etc.

Proof of professional or student status: evidence of employment, certificate of school attendance or proof of studying etc; ; for retired persons – proof of pension
- Accommodation: hotel booking, private or other accommodation, real estate title deed or lease, proof of ownership or lease of a boat etc. Accommodation can be provided by the guarantor or the inviting party if so indicated in the Letter of Guarantee or the Letter of Invitation.
- For minors (under 18 years)
All minors need a separate visa application even if they are enclosed into the parents’ passports.
Both parents should be present when applying. If only one parent submits documents, then from the second one it is necessary to present a notarized power of attorney for submission of documents for a visa to Croatia for his/her child.
Collection of fingerprints is from the age of 12. Presence of children under 12 is mandatory as the “live”-photo should be submitted.
If biometric data were collected within the last 59 months for a Schengen visa, they should be re-collected;
A visa application form should be signed by both parents or by the person exercising temporary or permanent parental authority or legal guardianship.
For minors traveling unaccompanied by parents or guardians, it is necessary to submit:
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from both parents/guardians;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of both parents/guardians
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from the second parent/guardians who do not accompany a minor in travel;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of the second parent/guardians who do not accompany a minor in travel;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the foreign passport/travel document and copy of a valid visa (if applicable) of the accompanying parent/guardians;
- copy of documents confirming the joint trip (accommodation confirmation, tickets, etc.)
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from both parents/guardians in favor of an accompanying person;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of both parents/guardians;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the foreign passport/travel document and copy of a valid visa (if applicable) of an accompanying person;
- copy of documents confirming the joint trip (accommodation confirmation, tickets, etc.)
- Parents/one of parents temporarily or permanently reside in Croatia;
- Child or parents/one of parents/accompanying person return from the trip on different dates;
- Child or parents /one of parents/accompanying person travel and return together, but parents/one of parents/accompanying person plan leaving Croatia for some period of time during the trip;
- Child or parents /one of parents/accompanying person travel with different flights.

Photographs must follow the below guidelines
- in colour
- 35x45 mm
- printed on normal photographic paper
- taken against a light background
- full face taken straight forward 30-36 mm from point of the chin to the head of hair
- the person is to be captured with neutral facial expression, with his/her eyes open and mouth closed
- The photograph of a person, who for religious or medical reasons is wearing a head cover, must show the person's cheeks, chin and forehead
- children in photographs must be alone, and their faces fully visible and eyes open

Overview

Who can apply for a Croatian visa in Belarus?
- customer himself;
- parents/adopted family for minors (aged up to 18 years) with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- parents for children (over 18 years old) with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- spouses (with original of supporting document of relationship proof - the marriage certificate);
- children over 18 years of age for their parents with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- travel agents recognised by Embassy of Croatia.
We also accept documents by an authorized third person ( with notarized power of attorney) in case the customer is disabled (it's better for customer to contact the Embassy of Croatia before to apply by e-mail at crorus@mvep.hr).
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Pursuant to the Government’s Decision, the Republic of Croatia decided to apply Decision No. 565/2016/EU according to which all visitors holders of valid Schengen documents do not require an additional (Croatian) visa to enter Croatia.
Visitors who are holders of:
- uniform visa (C) for two or multiple entries, valid for all Schengen Area Member States;
- visa with limited territorial validity (LTV visa), for two or multiple entries, issued to the holder of a travel document that is not recognised by one or more, but not all of the Schengen Area Member States, and which is valid for the territory of the Member States recognising the travel document;
- long-stay visa (D) for stays exceeding three months, issued by one of the Schengen Area Member State;
- residence permit issued by one of the Schengen Area Member State;
do not require a visa for transit or intended stays in the territory of Croatia not exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period.

The period of validity of the above mentioned Schengen documents must cover the duration of the transit or stay.

The period of validity of the above mentioned Schengen documents must cover the duration of the transit or stay.
Information for the holders of the Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen
A family member of a citizen of an EU Member State or the European Economic Area may travel to Croatia without a visa, if (s) he has a valid passport and a valid Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen, and is travelling in the company of or is joining the family member who is a citizen of an EU Member State or the EEA. If the family member of a citizen of an EU Member State or the EEA does not have such a card, (s) he needs a Croatian visa that will be issued on the basis of an accelerated procedure, free of charge.
A short-stay visa (C-visa) allows the visitor to transit through or stay in the territory of the Republic of Croatia for a maximum of 90 days in any period 180 day-period. It is issued for one, two, or multiple entries for the purpose of transit, tourism, business, private or other purposes. Its validity period depends on the circumstances of the visitor’s travel to Croatia and may not exceed five years.
The visa shall not entitle a visitor to enter the Republic of Croatia.
A foreigner cannot work in Croatia on the basis of a short-term visa.
Please note that you may be required to come for a personal interview with the visa officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia prior to a decision being made on your application.
Submitting a visa application, including all the required documents, does not automatically mean that the visa will be issued.
An issued visa is not a guarantee that a foreign citizen will be permitted to enter the Republic of Croatia. On every crossing of the border, the police may require the foreign citizen to present all relevant documents, including copies of the Letters of Guarantee for both private and business visits.
The decision to refuse a visa, indicating reasons for such a decision, shall be delivered to the customer in a visa refusal/annulment/revocation form.
A foreign citizen may file a complaint against the decision to refuse a visa through the competent Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Croatia, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the decision on visa refusal/annulment/revocation. The complaint shall be filed in Croatian. The fee for non-European countries is EUR 34 or US$ 38, according to Section 78b of the Law on Administrative Fees.
The visa application fee is non-refundable once the application has been accepted at the Embassy.
Any falsification of the documents and the use of such documents may be subject to criminal prosecution.

Service fees: Apart from the visa fee, VFS service charge in BYN of the equivalent of 30 Euros inclusive of VAT per application will be levied for customers applying at the visa application centre. The following are exempt from visa fees upon application:
- Family members of a Croatian citizen (spouse and children),
- Family members of citizens of EEA Member States (EU + Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Switzerland)

- Pupils, students, postgraduate students and teachers accompanying them when they come to attend school, study and professional training,
- Researchers coming to conduct research, as provided for by the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research,
- Representatives of non-profit organizations up to the age of 25, who are to attend seminars, conferences, sport, cultural or educational events organized by non-profit organisations.

The customer for a multiple-entry visa must have travel health-insurance policy that covers the period of the first visit to Croatia.

Proof of residence for nationals other than Belarus: a photocopy of the stay permit;
- Means of transportation and intention to return to the country of residence: reservation of return travel ticket for airplane, bus, or boat; registration card and driver's license if travelling by car; If the person is travelling to a third country, then proof of itinerary (travel ticket, etc.).

Proof of the purpose of stay in Croatia:
- Letter of invitation issued by a Croatian state authority, or the organiser of an international meeting or manifestation organized under the auspices of the Croatian Parliament, the President of the Republic of Croatia or the Government of the Republic of Croatia (copy)
- Members of official delegations who, following an official invitation, participate in meetings, consultations, negotiations or exchange programmes: Letter issued by the organiser confirming that the customer is a member of the official delegation travelling to Croatia to participate in the above events, accompanying by the copy of the official invitation

Documents proving sufficient funds to support the stay in Croatia and to return to the state of residence or to travel to a third state:
- Each person must have at least EUR 70.00 (for every day of stay at his/her disposal (or the equivalent amount in another currency). In case if accommondation is prepaid each person must have at least EUR 30.00 a day.
Exceptionally, if the Invitation Letter indicates the guarantor is fully accepting all the expenses related to visiting and departing from Croatia, the customer can be exempt from the requirement to present the proof of sufficient funds.
The supporting documents may include: pay slip and/or bank account statements about the balance and transactions on your bank account in the last three months, a pension slip, proof of scholarship received etc.
- Proof of professional status: evidence of employment; certificate of school attendance or proof of studying etc; for retired persons – proof of pension
- Accommodation: hotel booking, private or other accommodation, real estate title deed or lease, proof of ownership or lease of a boat etc. Accommodation can be provided by the guarantor or the inviting party if so indicated in the Letter of Invitation.
- For minors (under 18 years)
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from both parents/guardians;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of both parents/guardians
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- a copy of a notarized consent for travelling abroad from the second parent/guardians who do not accompany a minor in travel;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the internal national passports of the second parent/guardians who do not accompany a minor in travel;
- copy of the page with personal data out of the foreign passport/travel document and copy of a valid visa (if applicable) of the accompanying parent/guardians;

- Parents/one of parents temporarily or permanently reside in Croatia;
- Child or parents/one of parents/accompanying person return from the trip on different dates;
- Child or parents /one of parents/accompanying person travel and return together, but parents/one of parents/accompanying person plan leaving Croatia for some period of time during the trip;
- Child or parents /one of parents/accompanying person travel with different flights.
All minors need a separate visa application even if they are enclosed into the parents’ passports.
Both parents should be present when applying. If only one parent submits documents, then from the second one it is necessary to present a notarized power of attorney for submission of documents for a visa to Croatia for his/her child.
Collection of fingerprints is from the age of 12. Presence of children under 12 is mandatory as the “live”-photo should be submitted.
If biometric data were collected within the last 59 months for a Schengen visa, they should be re-collected;

- printed on normal photographic paper
- taken against a light background
- full face taken straight forward 30-36 mm from point of the chin to the head of hair
- the person is to be captured with neutral facial expression, with his/her eyes open and mouth closed
- The photograph of a person, who for religious or medical reasons is wearing a head cover, must show the person's cheeks, chin and forehead
- children in photographs must be alone, and their faces fully visible and eyes open

Overview
Citizens of Belarus who plan to visit Croatia are required to have a visa. If you reside in Belarus please check whether you require a visa for Croatia: http://www.mvep.hr/en/consular-information/visas/visa-requirements-overview/.
Who can apply for a Croatian visa in Belarus?
- customer himself;
- parents/adopted family for minors (aged up to 18 years) with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- parents for children (over 18 years old) with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- spouses (with original of supporting document of relationship proof - the marriage certificate);
- children over 18 years of age for their parents with original of supporting document of relationship proof;
- travel agents recognised by Embassy of Croatia.
We also accept documents by an authorized third person ( with notarized power of attorney) in case the customer is disabled (it's better for customer to contact the Embassy of Croatia before to apply by e-mail at crorus@mvep.hr).
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Pursuant to the Government’s Decision, the Republic of Croatia decided to apply Decision No. 565/2016/EU according to which all visitors holders of valid Schengen documents do not require an additional (Croatian) visa to enter Croatia.
Visitors who are holders of:
- uniform visa (C) for two or multiple entries, valid for all Schengen Area Member States;
- visa with limited territorial validity (LTV visa), for two or multiple entries, issued to the holder of a travel document that is not recognised by one or more, but not all of the Schengen Area Member States, and which is valid for the territory of the Member States recognising the travel document;

- document from medical institution confirming necessity for medical care in that institution and proof of sufficient financial means to pay for the treatment;

Letter of Guarantee by Legal Person: in original or copy if the original is deposited at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in Croatia; with the Letter of Guarantee, the guarantor shall enclose a proof of solvency (BON 1 or BON 2 Forms, or a confirmation of the Commercial Court that it is not in liquidation etc.); the customer shall be handed a photocopy of the Letter of Guarantee.

The customer receives a copy of the Letter of Guarantee so that (s)he may present proof of the purpose of stay in Croatia if requested to do so by border control authority.

Short Term Visa (C- Visa)
Citizens of Belarus who plan to visit Croatia are required to have a visa.
* Citizens of Belarus, holders of special passports, do not need a visa for entering and staying up to 90 days or passing through the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
** Holders of valid regular passports do not need a visa if they are:
- civil crewmembers of Croatian and Belarusian civil aircraft, as well as rescue crewmembers;
- crewmembers of Croatian and Belarusian aircraft taking part in rescue missions, as well as rescue crewmembers;
- civil crewmembers on ships.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please pay attention that pursuant to the Government’ Decision, the Republic of Croatia decided to apply Decision No. 565/2016/EU according to which all visitors who are holders of valid Schengen documents do not require an additional (Croatian) visa to enter Croatia.
Therefore, visitors who are holders of:
- Uniform (C) visa for two or multiple entries, valid for all Schengen Area Member States;
- Visa with limited territorial validity (LTV visa) for two or multiple entries, issued to a holder of a travel document that is not recognised by one or more but not all of the Schengen Area Member States and which is valid for the territory of the Member States recognising the travel document;

The period of validity of the above mentioned Schengen documents must cover the duration of the transit or stay.
This facilitated entry of aliens is in force until Croatia fully applies the provisions of the Schengen acquis.

- Please note that you may be required to come for a personal interview with the visa. officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Minsk prior to a decision being made on your application.
- Embassy also reserves the right to ask for additional supporting documents during the visa application process.
- Submitting a visa application, including all the required documents, does not automatically mean that the visa will be issued.
- An issued visa is not a guarantee that a foreign citizen will be permitted to enter the Republic of Croatia. On every crossing of the border, the police may require the foreign citizen to present a photocopy of the Letter of Guarantee in case of both private and business visits, and it is therefore recommendable to carry the Letter of Guarantee, as well as the proof of having sufficient funds, in hand baggage.
- The decision to refuse a visa, indicating reasons for such a decision, shall be delivered to the customer in a visa refusal/annulment/revocation form.
- A foreign citizen may file a complaint against the decision to refuse a visa through the competent Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Croatia, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the decision on visa refusal/annulment/revocation. The complaint shall be filed in Croatian. The fee for non-European countries is HRK 260 or EUR 26 or US$ 35, according to Section 78b of the Law on Administrative Fees.
- The visa application fee is non-refundable once the application has been accepted at the Embassy.
- An Embassy/Consular Post may invite the customer to an interview; require him/her to submit further documents and/or certified translation as well as the international certification (apostille) of the documents.
- Any falsification of the documents and the use of such documents may be subject to criminal prosecution.
A visa is the approval for transit through the territory of the Republic of Croatia or for entering the Republic of Croatia and staying up to three months in each six-month period counting from the date of the first entry.
It is issued for one, two or more entries for transit, tourist, business, private or other purposes.
The expiry date depends on the circumstances and cannot exceed five years.
The possession of a visa does not grant the entry into the Republic of Croatia. Other legal requirements must also be met. Aliens may not work on the territory of the Republic of Croatia based on a visa alone.
Aliens must apply for a visa prior to their entry into the Republic of Croatia, at the Visa Application Centre or the competent diplomatic mission/consular post.
An alien shall apply for the visa personally. Exceptionally, an alien need not file the application personally, but they shall present themselves when called upon by the diplomatic mission/consular post.
A visa application for an alien minor or an alien deprived of their business capacity shall be submitted by their legal representative.
Visa application forms shall be submitted no sooner than three months prior to the date of the intended trip.
Long-stay visa (type D)
A long-term visa (visa D) is an entry permit for citizens of third countries, to whom a temporary residence permit or a residence and work permit has been approved, and if a visa is required to enter the Republic of Croatia. A visa D can be issued for one or more entries with a validity period of up to six months and an approved stay of up to 30 days.
An application for a visa D is submitted in person.
Applications for minors or disabled should be submitted by their legal representatives.
An application for a long-term visa (visa D) can be submitted not earlier than two months before and not later than two months after the start of the validity of a temporary residence permit or a residence and work permit issued in the Republic of Croatia.
The availability of a long-term visa is not a guarantee of entry into Croatia, as other prescribed conditions should also be fulfilled for the entry into the Republic of Croatia by citizens of third countries.
Citizens of third countries, to whom a long-term visa has been issued, are obliged within 30 days from the start of the visa to approach the competent territorial police department or police station in order to register at the place of residence and apply for issuance of biometric residence permit.

For minors: signatures of both parents are required, if only one parent signs - from the second one it is necessary to present a notarized power of attorney to submit documents of the child.

The consular fee for a long-term visa (visa D) is 93 euros.
The following categories of applicants can be exempt from paying the consular fee:
- children under the age of 12;
- citizens of third countries, to whom a residence permit for the purpose of reunification with a close family member - Croatian citizen (spouse, children), has been approved;
- citizens of third countries to whom a residence permit has
been approved for the following purposes:
- secondary education
- university studies
- research
- humanitarian reasons
- Collection of fingerprints is from the age of 12. Presence of children under 12 is mandatory as the “live”-photo should be submitted.
If biometric data were collected within the last 59 months for a Schengen visa, they should be re-collected.
