Visa Information

Overview

• This type of visa is designed for customers who wish to enter Dominican Republic for tourism purposes.
• All documents must be in Spanish ONLY. Documents in other languages must be translated and certified by the translator's signature and stamp.
• Visa application form must be typed electronically and duly filled in.
• Submission of false information and non-straightforward supporting documents may result in visa rejection and a penalty on the customers.
• The Embassy reserves the right to request for additional documents or interview the customer, if necessary.

Please Note:

• All fees are stated in USD. All fees are paid in Belorussian Rubles at the rate agreed additionally on the day of payment.
• All charges can be paid at the visa application center in cash and are non-refundable.
• Each customer needs to pay a charge in BYN service fee 30 USD and logistic fee 15 USD (inclusive of VAT).
• All charges need to be paid in Belorussian Rubles only.
• All charges are non-refundable.

Documents Required

1. Fully completed visa application form must be completed computerized in block letters and stamped.
2. Original passport with 1 blank page and valid for at least 6 months after the date of trip.
3. 2 photos 4x5 sm size on white background and not older than 1 month.
4. Travel Itinerary and Hotel Reservation (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
5. Air tickets reservation (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
6. Covering letter explaining the purpose of trip (On Spanish or to be submitted along with the Spanish translation).
7. Certificate of employment/certificate of education provided in original on organization’s form with a stamp of organization + birth certificate if children travel with parents (To be submitted along with the Spanish translation)
8. A copy of parent consent along with a notarized copy of consent translated in Spanish is needed if visa is required not by parents. A copy of parent’s passport who provides a consent.
9. Bank Letter : The amount is not less than 1000$ per each applicant. Amount should be only in USD (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
10. Medical insurance (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
11. For non-residents: residence permit (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
12. Passport copy & copies of valid visas pages.

Important Note:

If any National is traveling only for tourism purposes and has valid multiple entry visa for USA, United Kingdom, Canada or Schengen then any National may obtain a tourist card at their arrival in any airport of the Dominican Republic with a validity of 60 days.

For all other purposes, Nationals have to apply in their nearest Embassy or Consulate.

• Please provide a recent photograph, taken within 1 month on white background.
• The number of photographs required and the size specifications are as follows:

  The photographs should be clear and of good quality, and should be printed on normal photographic paper.

  Your full face should be visible. The photograph should be taken without dark glasses or hat and covering up shoulders.

  The photographs should be in color.

Processing Time

Processing Time 10 working days (for single visa) and 15 working days (for multiple visa) from the moment of receipt of documents at the Embassy.

• Documents confirming the ownership of a business in the Dominican Republic, if available (official translation into Spanish).
• A certificate of non-conviction with an apostille issued in the country of residence, (Attach the correct translation of documents into Spanish with a stamp from the translation agency). If a citizen has been living in the Dominican Republic for the last three months, it is necessary, in addition to the above certificate, to additionally take a certificate from the police or the Prosecutor General's Office (Fiscalía General). The validity period of the certificate issued in Belarus is 90 days, in the Dominican Republic – 30 days.
• Birth certificate with apostille (Attach the correct translation of documents into Spanish with a stamp from the translation agency).
• A medical certificate with a diagnosis of general health from the country of origin (form 86-u or 082). Also, a blood test for AIDS, drugs, various infectious diseases (Attach the correct translation of documents into Spanish with a stamp from the translation agency).
• Letter of guarantee and declaration of the guarantor in Spanish. The signature of the guarantor should be notarized in the presence of two witnesses in the Dominican Republic and legalized in the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Dominican Republic.It is signed by a citizen of the Dominican Republic or a citizen legally residing in the territory of the Dominican Republic, who indicates ties with the applicant, and who becomes his guarantor. The guarantor bears economic responsibility and assumes the costs of the applicant's deportation if the applicant violates the law.
• For non-residents: residence permit (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
• Passport copy & copies of valid visas pages.
